Following on from our hugely successful show at Rudy’s Pizza, Women in Print moved their exhibition to The Pankhurst Centre for the month of September. We organised a launch at the former home of Emmeline Pankhurst which included talks, a lino-printing workshop and afternoon tea.

Women in Print artist Nell Smith led a lino-printing workshop. Nell talked through her design process and the print techniques used to make her distinctive work. Attendees were then invited to print their very own Emmeline Pankhurst design using hand-held printing tools, ink and paper.
