An evening of conversation and creativity

Radcial Late Event

The evening, led by Women in Print, was an opportunity to present Dunham Massey’s history outside of the property, making the stories of the women featured in the exhibition accessible to a new audience. The theme of Women and Power was explored through conversation with Women in Print curator Jane Bowyer and National Trust volunteers. There was also an experimental workshop led by illustrator Lucy Ketchin.

With a love of colour and craft, Lucy demonstrated her process of working with paper and fabric to create forms and shapes to create original artworks. She invited and assisted guests in making individual banners that represented the women who had raised, shaped and influenced them.
